Äntligen hemma! Igår (jag höll på att skriva Å som ett A, haha man vänjer sig fort ;)) landade vi vid två-tiden på natten svensk tid (och då hade klockan hunnit bli tre på Kreta) så vi var rejält trötta när vi äntligen fick ut bagaget som tog olidligt lång tid på sig. Mina söta kompisar Johanna och Andrea väntade på oss på flygplatsen och körde oss hem och jag kom i säng vid fyra-tiden. Vaknade vid nio-tiden idag men tänkte att jag kunde sova lite till och när jag tittade på klockan nästa gång var hon ETT. Alltså ETT!? Jag har aldrig i hela mitt liv sovit så länge!! Wellwell, skönt att sova och nu när väskan är uppackad, sängkläder bytta och rummet dammsugat och klart, skall jag snart åka iväg till Borealis och träffa Pierre när han slutat, ÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅH <3

Har haft en underbar resa i vilket fall, sol och 30 grader varje dag, klarblått vatten och klarblå himmel, party, sol och bad och restaurang i solnedgången och massa mys. Bilder kommer upp vilken dag som helst! Pussisar

Heeeeeeeeey, you asked me to show some photos, I will when I get home 😉

Today we’ve been to “Crete’s Maldives”, Elafonissi. The busstour there was very exciting, well pretty scary sometimes since we went by a ravine, so at some moments there were just inches from that the bus would touch the stone wall, at the same time as there were a few hundred meters down on the other side.

So, Elafonissi was very beautiful, though the sand wasn’t that pink haha. But the sea was clearly blue and the water very clear, so I’m glad I’ve been there.

Today is our last night, so we’re planning to fix our dinner soon and then go out in the evening. Tomorrow we’re leaving home, and I’m so happy – finally I’m going to see Pierre <3

So, last time I wrote was Saturday, and that evening we ended up at the nightclubs Splendid and then Eclipse, which both are just like 300 meters from where we stay. We met some Swedish guys Friday evening so on Saturday we hung out with them as well, dancing until late in the night/early in the morning again which was really fun!

Yesterday we lay on the beach, a bit tired though after two nights out. I have to tell you again – the water is amazing. It’s so incredibly clear! And it gets deep really fast, if I go 6 meters out, I can’t reach the bottom, but you can clearly see the bottom anyway since the water’s so clear. The bad thing though, as I said last time, is that the sand is BURNING. I really mean it, it burns if you put your feet in the sand so you have to run or take your shoes (well, at lest us Scandinavians who’re not used to this warmth – the greeks dig themselves into the sun with no problem at all).

At the evening we took the bus in to Chania and ate dinner at a restaurant just by the sea and saw the sun go down as we ate, but before eating we walked on the small streets checking all the little stores with all its sunglasses, shoes, leather and so on. One man recommended us the very restaurant we ate on and wrote his name on a card he told us to show the ones who worked at this restaurant, so we got a free drink before dinner because of that, nice!

Today we’re planning to watch the football game between Sweden and Ucraine at some bar and then go to Splendid or something again. We also booked a trip to Elafonissos today, “Crete’s Maldives”. It’s a paradise beach with pink sand so it’s going to be nice to go there our last whole day. Hope you’re all doing well back in Sweden, hugs and kisses from Crete!

P.S. I heard it has been raining in Sweden the last couple of days. Here’s it’s blue sky with no clouds, shining sun all day long and over 30 degrees Celcius every day. Just so you know. D.S.

Hellooooo everybody update from Crete on it’s way! As usual I’m going to write in English since there’s no Swedish letters on this keyboard. We thought we’d take a pause from the beach and go to an internet cafe, it only costs 1,5 euro per hour so I’m pretty sure we’ll go here again 🙂

We came here late in Thursday evening, got our apartment and packed up a little, and then we just took a walk around the area to check the stores for tomorrow’s breakfast. At Friday morning we got up pretty early to buy some breakfast, we went to the welcome meeting with Ving and then we just went to the beach as quickly as we could.

Yesterday evening, after making our own dinner consisting of pasta, vegetables, fetaost (?) we went out to test the nightlife here. We were out on the streets somewhere before ten, but today we’re planning to not go out until at least eleven, twelve in the evening since the nightlife really doesn’t start after midnight somewhere. But when it did start yesterday night we had really fun and danced all evening.

Today  we’ve been at the beach until now and we’re planning to take something to eat, then take a powerwalk, then fix our dinner and then get us ready for another night out. Hope you’re all doing well home in Sweden, here it’s hot as crazy and the sand really burns – I take my flip flops down to the sea when I’m going in since the sand is so hot you can’t stand more than seconds in it until it burns like hell. The ocean is very beautiful – light blue and the water is incredibly clear, it gets really deep just after a few meters and you can still see right down to the bottom. Only bad thing is that I miss Pierre so freaking much, a week without him now… <3
